The Kahle Community Center - Kingsbury, Nevada (NV)

Kahle Community Center at Lake Tahoe is a nineteen acre park located in a beautiful setting at the top of Kingsbury Grade where it intersects Highway 50. Their motto is "We're not just a community center, we're the center of the community" and to those visiting the community. The Center has a flexible schedule which allows day visitors, vacationers and temporary visitors to join in the fun. They truly make an effort to serve the community, such as their policy not to charge Veterans, and children aged nine and under are free when accompanied by a parent.

For starters they have a gymnasium, rock wall and a jogging track. They also have all sorts of activities for children, including an arcade of video games and air hockey among other activities. They have all kinds of leagues, many for adults, as basketball and volleyball. The park features sports fields, a bicycle and walking path, play and picnic areas as well as a concession building.
