Traveling by bus around Lake Tahoe is an inexpensive and eco-friendly way of getting around the lake. The main bus carrier in the South Lake Tahoe area is BlueGo, which carries passengers throughout South Lake Tahoe, Kingsbury, Stateline and Carrson City. Incline Village, Tahoe City and Truckee is served by the TART bus service which is also affordable public transportation. The cost of transport varies by location, but generally it's $1.75 for a one-way ride.
